Plant Manager - Tissue Plant

Role:
- Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling all the functions within the plant on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Provide overall leadership for the plant to produce quality products, efficiently and safely within established policies and procedures.
- Oversee the factory operations (tissue plant, warehouse and logistics).
- Responsible for budget management, operations and capital expenditure, coaching the plant members to further optimize performance.
- Ensure the project is efficiently completed within the agreed specification, budgets and time frame.
- Monitor the implementation of the HACCP, ISO and management systems to ensure total compliance.
- Complete daily inspections of plant machinery and equipment; inspects ongoing activities for safety and environmental compliance and for adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
- Define KPIs & SOPs for all related activities.
- Monitor complete Supply chain to avoid any shortage.
- Daily monitoring of productivity, plant & human resource utilization, efficiencies, preventive maintenance & wastages.
Skills:
- University degree in Manufacturing or Engineering (concentration on the Food Industry is preferred).
- The ideal candidate will have 6 plus years of experience preferably in a similar capacity within a Tissue manufacturing facility.
- Possessing manufacturing team capabilities by bench marking and transferring best practices to the plant.
- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
