Job Description:

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Develop strategic business and sales plans for each of our products for each country in the MENA region
  • Be fully accountable for delivering revenue and market share growth throughout the Territory
  • Maintain a highly visible presence and relationships with senior executives in all accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that our maximum sales potential is realized
  • Lead sales efforts on key identified customer leads
  • Structure, draft and present customer proposals
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activity in the Territory to identify further commercial opportunities
  • Directly manage sales for important accounts
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Train, supervise and manage each member of the sales team to ensure that they are complying with our policies and procedures, are performing to the best of their ability and are up to date on all new commercial developments both within our company and in relation to our competitors
  • Conduct feasibility studies on any new products to be introduced in the market with complete financial and commercial analysis with in-depth detailed understanding
  • Champion sales change initiatives within the sales team and role-model new behaviors


Qualifications and Experience
  • 15 + years of strong sales planning, execution and leadership experience in the MENA region; and
  • Prior experience in FMCG sales; and understanding of the business model and consumers awareness
  • Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, Preferably Masters but not a mandate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Business acumen
  • Customer and revenue driven
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multi task priorities, problem solving
  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The ability to lead and inspire a team;
  • A passionate, results oriented and creative personality
  • Prior experience in the sale of tea, tissues, cigarettes, cooking oils and biscuits.
