Job Title : Head of Sales - FMCG

Department: Sales



  • Develop strategic business and sales plans for all prospects in the MEA region
  • Full accountability for delivering the revenue and market share growth
  • Maintain a highly visible presence and relationships with senior executives in all accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company’s maximum sales potential is realized.
  • Deliver qualified consulting approach and lead sales efforts on key identified leads; structure and draft proposals, including written materials, pricing and presentations
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activity in the territory to identify further commercial opportunities
  • Directly manage sales for large accounts in the region
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue, market share and cost of sale targets
  • Play an active role in the development of current and future growth strategy for all existing products as well as new products in the pipeline
  • Conduct feasibility studies on any new products to be introduced in the market with complete financial and commercial analysis and understanding
  • Champion sales change initiatives within the team and roll-model new behaviors.
  • Direct and control the company’s sales staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales function and take remedial action where necessary to ensure that sales targets are met.

  • FMCG Background with extensive business network in Tea, Tissues, Cigarettes, Cooking Oil, Biscuits, cookies etc.
  • Channel Development
  • Sales Techniques, Team Building and Mentoring


  • Age : 30-45 yrs
  • Prior experience in FMCG Sales and understanding of the business model and consumers’ awareness
  • Prior experience with Tea, Tissues, Cigarettes, Cooking Oils, Biscuits, Cookies etc. will be a plus
  • Passionate, result-oriented and Creative
  • Business acumen and Team Leadership
  • Strong presentation skills
